syntropia space started 2023 as a creative investigation on deep sustainability within a relatable reach of creative fields
syntropia.space started on Smedjegatan 5, a back street in central Gothenburg. In an old worker's cafe with a deep history as the physical space of an in between, where the dock workers of the time and government officials met over a sausage sandwich and a cup of coffee. After a period of time where entropy was allowed to run wild, we took over the rooms to start a temporary, lively, creative place with a focus on spontaneous and positive co-creation. A space for our individual resources and abilities for untested ideas and expressions. Since then we have found more spaces to further investigare more collaborations.

Almedal, is the adress of Syntropia work space. It holds a tattoo studio, a photographer studio and Syntropia farm stop as well as an shared work space.

Syntropia's original meaning comes from mathematician Luigi Fantappiè's theory (simplified explanation) that there are two forces working together, one builds up (syntropy) and the other (entropy) breaks down. He believed that syntropy is the essence of life.
